About the rates and comparison
Denova’s day rate is £150–£200, depending on the colleague’s experience and specialist skills. The client pays the agreed day rate, with no additional Denova fees. The monthly examples assume 20 billable days: £3,000–£4,000 with Denova and £9,000 at the UK advertised contractor median of £450 per day.
The illustrative difference is (£450 − £200) × 20 to (£450 − £150) × 20: £5,000–£6,000 per month. Actual monthly charges depend on the agreed billable days. VAT is not calculated in these examples.
The UK benchmark comes from IT Jobs Watch: 484 quoted daily rates over the six months to 22 September 2026, checked 23 September 2026. It is a dated snapshot and may change.
Advertised contractor rates cover a mix of experience, sectors and contract terms; they are not a quote for an identical service. No employer-cost uplift, agency margin or IR35 adjustment has been added. The comparison does not guarantee savings or equivalent seniority.
