About the rates and comparison
How to use the calculator. Choose an area, then a role. The names match the specialist role cards above. Figures are in GBP for one specialist; monthly equivalents use 20 billable days on both sides.
Denova’s rates. Each role is assigned an indicative day-rate band: £150–£200 for junior and support roles, or £200–£250 for specialist and senior roles. The selected role determines the band. Final fees depend on scope, experience, specialist skills and agreed days; monthly figures are illustrations rather than fixed quotes.
The UK benchmark. Each role has a published median for its standard job title or recognised abbreviation, sourced from UK contract vacancies tracked by IT Jobs Watch. Its coverage focuses on IT-related recruitment. The source link, six-month reporting period, quoted-rate sample and date checked are shown with the result. These advertised rates cover a mix of experience levels and contract terms; they do not price an identical service or isolate individual software and sector specialisms.
The comparison. Where at least 10 daily rates support the benchmark, the calculator subtracts Denova’s rate range from the UK median and multiplies by 20 to show an illustrative monthly difference. Samples of 5–9 rates are labelled as small and shown for context, without a calculated saving. Other samples may also be modest. Savings and equivalent seniority are not guaranteed.
What is included. The calculation compares the displayed day rates only. It does not calculate VAT, expenses, employer costs, agency margins or IR35 adjustments. Benchmarks were checked on 20–21 September 2026 and are stored snapshots, not a live market feed.

Who employs and supports the colleagues?
Our colleagues are full-time Denova employees. Denova provides training, mentoring and ongoing support, while colleagues work collaboratively with your team.
How does pricing and billing work?
Embedded Delivery uses standard day rates, with the total cost based on the support and duration agreed. Contact us for a quote for your requirements.
How long can a colleague support my team?

How do you manage remote working?

How is this different from Managed Services?
